it is interesting how we visiualize thigs we cant even fathom, what is space? an expanse of nothing? but how can nothing be nothing if space is also nothing? because if space is nothing then wouldnt that mean that nothing is something?

There is no limit of what we can imagine in Space its there for us to explore. I like the colours you used here and the light effects. Im always a big fan of space Art.

Ooh, I really like the light effect the electricity (gas cloud) creates on the planet. Fantastic picture, reminds me of something out of Star Trek TNG =o)
The only thing I would possibly change is shading out some of the stars in the backround...maybe make a few different starfield layers of varying intensities so it doesnt look so even. Otherwise fantastic work!
