this looks like a double exposure to me. i like the effect, but i think that the shoe should be placed lower in the frame (near the bottom) because all that empty space, while useful sometimes, doesnt serve any purpose here. as far as i can see, anyway.

This is a really beautiful shot ! I like these pastell,
"candy" colours and that almost transparent layer with the pair of shoes in the background.
