Athena was born to a poor family. Early in her childhood she was sold into slavery to help pay off her some of her fathers debts. Sadly she was used and abused by her owners. Until one day she was sold to a wealthy man who in comparison to the other owners gave many more comforts to her. But he was a bastard to her all the same. One night as she laid asleep on her pile of blankets and pillows she awoke to a giant shadowy figure standing over her with blazing red eyes. She had been visited by a demon. The demon picked her up by her head and began to drain her soul from her limp body as it was crushing her head in its powerful grip. Something strange happened while Athena felt the last remnants of her strength being siphoned from her the demon threw her to the ground. For a moment the demon just starred at her pitifully and helplessly cowering on the ground. Then it grabbed the chain that was fastened around her neck keeping her shackled and broke her chain freeing her. All this with not but the whimpers of Athena and the crack of the chain when it broke. It appeared that the demon had a change of heart? Athena stood up and the demon still stood there towering over her. That's when the demon through telepathy spoke to her offering her a pact. The pact being that she allow the demon to possess her and in exchange she would be allowed autonomy with her body as long as he could be one with her. Athena not seeing any other option forward other than what the demon suggested except death decided to accept the pact.

Now with the demon as her inner partner she has become very powerful and she would see these slave owners pay for their exploitation of the innocent.
