What I've been working on lately, a comic adaptation of the second chapter of a lovely fic "a thousand years" [link] by the lovely venusian-eye [link] ! A must for any dirkjake fan, or just Dirk fans really. Being the second chapter, reading the first is definitely highly recommended if you want to really know what’s going on.

But in a nutshell: Dirk decided to go all out with his aspect in that he tore his soul into an indeterminable amount of pieces now scattered throughout the multi-verse. Through a spell cast by Rose, Jake undergoes the task of finding and collected those pieces. The spell makes the pieces easier to find by shrouding them within an illusion of various fairy tales and folklore. Through stories such as Bluebeard, The Crane Wife, The Happy Prince, and Orpheus and Eurydice, Jake and the reader are taken through an extensive exploration of the many aspects of Dirk’s character.
