Beast from Kuroshitsuji -WIPI still need to finish some small things, like the trim and the diamond pattern on the stockings. But other than that I'm just waiting for the gloves to come in the mail and I need to fix up the belt for the whip. Then it's all done.
I have to say it's not too bad. Vinyl is a pain in the arse to sew, btw.

hey! mmm...I like it, but it took some getting used to. I figured out that I have to add a bit of padding in the bum area and make the form wear one of my bras so I can get more accurate proportions. Sometimes I think it would have been better just to make one instead of buying it. But I bought mine on sale from JoAnns awhile back, so it wasn't too bad. I think I picked it up for about 90, after tax and the shipping and handling it came out to around 110. But it's nice to have since I don't always have the right pattern that I want, I can now just take muslin and make my own pattern. I'm still learning though.

I'm definitely thinking of just making my own. I'll probably still have to do padding out, etc. depending on what I'm working on - that's pretty standard. And yes, I really want to be able to do draping. I would prefer to make my own patterns.

Well since your situation is tight anyway, making one on your own doesn't seem like such a bad prospect. Especially since I've seen them made with trash bags and duct tape.

I'll probably wear it at least once Fri, Sat and Sun. I'm just really bringing Madame Red and Beast and one other. So I'll just switch out between all of them. I'm not sure how long I can last in Beast though, the heels are going to be killer even with the gel soles.

I ended up buying mine with one of those coupons from JoAnns. It was like 50 bucks off, it was kind of pricey, and hard to get used too. But it's nice once you get the hang of it.

Well.. sadly it would be more helpful if we were both shaped the same and weighed the same xD LOL I know it's odd, but we don't have the same build..like.. I'm thicker and broader and my sis is slimmer..dunno about the broad though. My sis is usually good about getting my measurements right, though if I didn't suck soo much I'd be able to help her out more XDD *fails* I know O_O those things are SOOOO AWESOME but soo pricey x_x;; I should invest in one eventually to help my sis out, but I'm saving right now so it can wait xD Damn you expensive out of state conventions and that damn computer I want.. *shakes fist*
