I like the concept and the idea of ββthis illustration. The monkey's grimace with his mouth conveys a funny expression. Adding that with the corporal pose, and I think you are giving a very original and attractive result
But some things could be better as I see it. There are not too much shadows and light reflections. From the casted shadow I see on the ground (not very defined), I can infer in which direction the light source goes. However, the rest of the body shadows don't work too much. I think it's necessary to add more shadows and more reflections of light in general. And the stars should be smaller and brighter, although you may have made them as they are now because of the style...
The stroke of the lines and inking is very well made in general. I like the blood effect that you have added to the lyrics. AlthoughΒ shouldn't he have blood on his fingers too? 
I see that you have also put brown and green stains and dirt on the astronaut suit. But we can't see anything of that color on the ground. I would add more details to the stage to integrate the character more into it. Or just change the dirty color of the suit.
The proportions and anatomy of the character give a result that although it's not bad I don't think it's fine at all. The mouth and muzzle cover the eyes too much, especially the right one. The hands are the parts that are best made. But the entire upper part of the body seems larger than the lower part (from the waist down). I don't know if that was intentional, but it gives the feeling that the chimpanzee is a bit deformed because of that.

I love this! Everything about it is great. I love the look on his face. One question I have though... The sign... Did his partner not make it?

The case is on purpose. NASA is real sue happy with people using their logo w/o permission. As for the partner, IDK. I didnβt give this one a story. Just drew a monkey in a space suit.

Yeah NASA can be real dicks about that. And given that they're a tax-payer funded, public organization it makes even less sense! If my taxes paid for it, then I own that logo and I should be able to use it whenever I want.Β
As for the partner thought I had, the sign looks a bit "red and drippy" I was thinking. "Ohh now, he needed to make the sign but didn't have a pen!" Because monkey's are absolutely brutal creatures and would use their partners blood to make a sign in a heart beat. They really are vicious.Β Β
