Is 1989, the Berlin wall has fallen; at first I wanted to draw Prussia with his 40’s clothing (and visibly emaciated) because he lived in the Soviet Union mostly as a prisioner and I can’t imagine him having a lot of new clothes that followed tha fashion of the current years. And I wanted to draw Hungary in 80’s-90’s fashion so you guys can see this contrast… But since that fashion proposed to the girls to have the hair combed in a very spongy way and Hungary has her back to us… I think she would be unrecognizable x’D so maybe another day I’ll do the clothing contrast.

Oh and I like to imagine that the countries that are not Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the baltics and such didn’t know that Prussia was alive, since his disolution was ending the WWII and Russia captured him as a prisoner almost instantly, everyone even Germany thought that he had died shortly after being no longer a nation. So yeah, when the wall falls and Prussia is free is like a very happy big surprise <3

What do you think? I know Hungary was also communist at the end of WWII but I don’t think Russia wanted her to know that Prussia was alive, since they are friends and my imagination of Russia in those years was that he was cruel.
