Someone asked me on tumblr what where my thoughts about APH Canada:

He’s a sweet boy who needs more love <3
I think I could be the character that most resembles how my voice is in real life so I empathize with him a lot in that way HAHAHA so low :’(.

You see, he looks like the shyest character and probably the friendliest.
What I really love about hetalia’s characters is that they are very deep even tought Himaruya give us very short moments of them (and most of it are in comedy mode).

Canada’s deep part (as I see it) is that eventought he’s an amazing country, USA is more popular because he’s always interacting with other nations in a very noisy way, so the nations remember Alfred better than Matthew.
And they’re brothers so they look very alike, and the first tought when others see Canada is ‘Oh it’s USA’, like all the time. That + the shy thing= Very invisible (Plus he has a bear with selective alzheimer, CANADA WTF)

HOW DO YOU THINK CANADA FEELS? But he has a good heart and want to stay away from trouble, so he doesn’t make a fuss about it and eventought he is used to it, it hurts, and sometimes he explodes (in a very canadian way).

He, Romando and Prussia should do a therapy group about beign ignored (?), is very interesting to see how those 3 react different to that: Canada acting like letting it go everytime, Romano always complaining and defensive and Prussia doing everything to get attention.

Going back to the point; Of course that doesn’t mean that Canada is so soft that he has no personality or self love. I think he’s also one of the most mature characters, he knows what he is good at and is modest about it, he still love the people who make him feel invicible because he understands that is not on purpose, do you think Canada can’t kick their asses? of course he can, he’s as strong as his brother, but he chooses not to do it (unless we talk about hockey or defend the defenseless)

I think we could learn a lot of APH Canada’s kindness <3
