The second deliver from the Dreams Reflections Series.
I must add that this was started almost at the same time as DreamsReflections_I [link] , back in 2001, but I never finished. I picked up now that I have time and feel inspired.

Coming back to re-fave this image reminded me of why i loved it so much the first time around. It's such a complete image with buckets full of meaning and talent. I love how the weathered down girl is looking in almost viseversa to what we normaly see in artworks, the unreal looking towards the real instead and being the opposite of what i would have expected. I love the palid tones and the ripple effect of her reflection, it really does work well as a dream image. I love the tint of the girls skin, it really compliments her hair and gives the picture a forboding feeling. Seeing something she'd rather be, or perhaps something she has no hope of ever wanting to be. I love this. The texture work is great and really works well with the picture.
Critwise i'd say the girl on the lefts hair could have been blended a bit more on the bottom area near her back but other than that i think this is perfect
I'd love to see you continue this series at some point.

Wow this piece really speaks to me. It reminds me of that girl off The Ring. Even though its dark it conveys a certain surreal quality but I like that in pictures. Excellent work.
