This is what I ended up doing with the previous photo, and made an entire series based off of it.Grattage technique on glossy photo paper.
It's a bad scan, but as long as the mark making is apparent then its fine.

I love how the white lines make the hair look like a jungle... And as someone said before, the red thing reminds me of blood... e.e
