He reminds me of one of my own characters, well, with the red hair and stubble beard. The only time he would get on a boat would be if he needed to, but this guy looks like a natural sailor.

Nice picture.
I like it.
I'm really commenting because Sea Fever is one of my all-time favorite poems like...evar. Not just because of Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka, either. It is just awesome, and I love how well your picture fits.
Nicely done.

Oh God, a sexy redheaded pirate! What more could a girl want? And it's so very well done. I love the details in the ropes and jewelry.
Could you maybe make a sexy redheaded cowboy? lol

Heehee!
A cowboy picture, hmm? I actually haven't drawn anything western themed, so that could be fun. I'll have to keep that idea in mind.

Thanks! My painting skills for photoshop are slowly but steadily improving. I'm trying to keep a kind of painterly approach in my style because I don't like it when things look overly airbrushed and digital. It works fine for other people's art, but that super digital look just doesn't fit my general style.

This is so good. You're so great. My favorite piece is the texture on the boots. Magnificent.

thats really neat, in what way did you paint it? I mean, is it crayons or computer? Awesome anyways

Thanks for the feedback.
Haha, I don't think I've used crayons since my coloring book days. In the description for this picture I wrote that I painted this image in Photoshop. I tend to do the majority of my coloring digitally these days.

Thank you! His face was re-worked a couple of times until I arrived at that version, so I'm happy to hear you think it works.
