Hello friends,

Im really exited to show this here, this took me quite a while to finish but I’m happy with the results, it’s not perfect but I still like the result. I tried using a method used in the making of, of the movie „Klaus“, wich uses different shading and lighting to make a 2D painting appear 3D. Using that method I tried recreating the 3D style in the actual game.

Now to these two, I like to headcanon that these two would be a special unit in-game, as they are basically two characters with they’re own special skills and perks but in one Guardian. As you can also see these two have two different roles in-game, Brooke acts as a Support Guardian while Grim acts as a Melee Guardian. I’d like to explain how these two would work gameplay wise when played in game.

As mentioned before these two are two Guardians in one, and this is how they’re abilities make them work:

Brooke:
Beast Tamer: This is Brookes first ability wich allows her to sent Grim into battle, this is also where Grims own abilities start taking effect, Grim will be sent out into battle kinda like a Pokémon, now in-game you actually take control of Brooke so Grim will act as an Ai like you’re other teammates. Grim will perform his attacks independently, however if Grim takes enough damage he will return to the player and this ability will start to reload until it is jet again ready to be used.
999 Happy Haunts: this is Brookes second ability and this one has Brooke summoning some of the Ghosts residing in Rhamshackle Dorm with the help of her weapon the Beacon of souls. When this ability takes effect, it gives the player and they’re team a temporary armor buff, and gifs the enemy a random debuff, the ghosts will act as armor until they disappear. Occasionally this ability will also heal the player and their teammates.
Grim Grinning Ghosts: Brooks Final ability let’s her unleash the full might of the beacon of souls with the help of Madame Letta (twisted version of Madame Leota). Madame Letta will manifest and send all her Ghost allies onto the enemy, wish Leads to a huge debuff. If many enemies are close to Brooke while using this ability the entirety of the enemy unit will be caught by this attack and take damage.

Grim:
Tuna! My Beloved!: Grims first ability allows him a temporary speed and attack boost, Grim will corner and attack the nearest enemy unit to Brooke and him. Occasionally this ability can also heal the ally team. (Grim will be unable to be healed by any means, as he is still seen as an ability)
The Great Sorcerer Grim: Grim will Summon a huge wall of blue flames that will swallow any enemy unit near enough whole and deal an considerable amount of damage.

Grim only has to abilities as he himself is technically seen as one and he acts as an Ai. Little fun fact Grims costume here is based on the Headbox Ghost from the Haunted Mansion.
