Nothing like a convention coming up in less than a week to really light a fire under my butt to get more artwork done!
I've had Chucky on my to-do list for a LONG time (like a lot of my pieces) so with a new movie coming out, as well as 2 actors from the Child's Play franchise being at the Calgary Horror Convention this weekend - I had to make this now or never.
So yes, he's supposed to look like a cabbage patch kid - this piece was a lot more fun than I anticipated considering I'm lukewarm on this franchise. I'm very pleased with how this turned out all things considered!
This took me around 6 hours and is done on 16"x20" black suede illustration board, using an Iwata Eclipse airbrush, black and white charcoal, and prismacolour pencil crayons.
