What a wonderfully appropriate take on this legendary Tolkien character. After all he was heavily influenced by Anglo-Saxon and Celtic mythologies.

I like this style of illustration. Actually it reminds me of Irish and Pictish memorial stones, where the lines are chisel-simple, but still allow for a fair amount of decoration.

其实当时是准备涂成黑色的，但由于一个原因，我犹豫了……其实我想除了后面的龙，以及名字，没有更多特点能使人认出这个人物……所以就一直处在这样的一个境地……turin不只是黑剑，屠龙，这个人物很丰富，涵盖的神话以及故事很多，我想，应该重新设计一个2D的凯尔特式的turin……
