This is really cool!! I really like the details of the armor and the shield, and the background is VERY cool! I really like the lighting and the colors you used! I encourage you to try drawing these things more! It's always good to challenge yourself. I always want to draw these things more, but they are always so bad and time-consuming compared to my pictures without backgrounds. u 0 u Still, if you can gain the skill then things look really amazing!

ty, yea they are extremely time consuming (unlike the pro, only take them 3-5 hours to do something like this), but yea id agree with you, it does worth the time and effort to try making this happen. tho drawings with no background are still more fun and enjoyable than this lol.Β

LMAO NO DON'T SAY THAT! don't say they can do it in 3-5 hrs thats just gonna make me feel even worse omg! xD At least 7-8 sounds REASONABLE... and I get ya there, drawing things with a background are fun for me to sketch, but finishing them.... ugh.Β

just do an abstract background man, outline only those that are essential to the drawing max, the rest just fuck it lol. im actually quit admired to those that have the full patient to do full cityscape with lineart and texture on it. for me right now, fine_flat and no texture is all i can do haha

omg I never lineart backgrounds.... unless its like an interior... ; 0 ; I generally just paint and pray tbh... linearting cities is awful, although thinking about it now and how long its been since I even tried, I kind of want to make another attempt...
one of my biggest problems actually was that I couldnt really control the line weight for straight lines for some reason and that would make everything look wonky no matter how well I drew it... = 0 =; but maybe now that I have a new program I can get it to work...
And I've never tried a texture for it?? What kind of texture would you even use?
