I'm thinking they were out to dinner or at some boring company party when she said "take me to the beach." A quick drive later and she's walking on the engineered tide flats at the Laguna windfarm as the sun says goodnight and drops into the Pacific.Just something different... maybe I'm channeling my inner Jack Vettriano, but occasionally you've just gotta go to the beach

The hour of the evening really gives this scene a terrific aura. Most artists would insist on showing us the sun itself. Also the birds and the breeze are in concert, which is impressive.
I like that the hovering vehicle is not particularly beautiful-- it's a little bulky and heavy-looking and in an 'everything is perfect' fantasyworld most artists would make it look sleeker and faster. So it gives the scene a sort of 'early futuristic' appeal. The people's clothing is not much different from that of today and supports that.
However that hoverer sits pretty far off the ground! And the door sills are so high! --I'd like to see that girl in that dress trying to get back into her seat! LOL

The beach is 3D also or photo? if 3D its amazing.

Thanks for the comment... the beach is actually a combination of 3D from Vue 6 Infinite and photo assets, so it's a hybrid of sorts

very nice since I dont think there is a Laguna Wind Farm, at least when I moved out of cali there wasnt. Good composition, nice shadows.

Definitely brilliant. The mood, the realism (I can almost smell the beach and hear the seagulls!) and a romantic theme to it. I think it's a win-win.
