Description 's OC Delilah, as part of our art trade.

I used a reference for her pose, which I should do more because usually I get annoyed when I try full figures in poses. The reference helped me keep the hate for drawing anantomy away I guess, but I guess I'll have to not rely too much on references.

She is a cool OC, really. I liked drawing her, but I think I over-inked her hair. This was fun. I probably enjoy drawing others' OCs over my own. At least finished drawings of other people's OCs are produced, since I know it's for someone else. When it's my OCs, I never bother to finish. I think her school jacket's too light.

I did like trying to draw Delilah face in my style.

Nice, like the pose, reference is always a good way of bettering your art (especially when practicing anatomy), really know what you mean about finishing others people's OCs instead of your own. Any way good work.

Thank you! I think I really will try using as much references as I can when going for more serious pieces or at least finished pieces, until I get a better grasp of the anatomy. Getting anatomy right without using references in this early stage of improvement is like trying to put together a 5000 pieced puzzle without seeing the box cover. I think I just need to stop guessing how the body is drawn, like I usually do.

Thanks! I think about it a lot like that, but sadly I barely have time to follow and practice! Sometimes I just struggle an make anatomy up when I'm far from a computer... or google, lol. D:

Thank you! I wouldn't say my shading is heavnenly, but I guess my improvement is sllloowwwlly starting to peak through. Inking and colouring neatly is still a huge problem for me, though.

Lol, hold on. Lol, I cannot take many requests, sorry. I'll announce art trading in a journal later this week, though. (One per person, sorry.) I'm pretty busy with school myself, too, and other people's OC drawings are really just a way of pushing myself to practice drawing techniques and patience. But, I don't mind doing trades with you.

And don't worry, you don't even have to upload drawings of them for me, references and descriptions are fine. (I'll tell you more on the terms of the art trade in the journal when I post it. )
