Personality/Backstory:

At school, Angela is seen as a socially awkward trainwreck, often being a mess of emotions and what she considers 'poor decisions'. However, it wasn't always like this. Growing up, Angela was one of the most energetic children anyone would ever see. Around the age of five, she met her best friend Ellie Trinkett, who she would often get into crazy adventures with in elementary school (it was Ellie that got her into Pokemon as well). At home, she would often run around and climb the tree outside her backyard and generally lived a happy life. Then, middle school began.

Angela's family was located in a more upper-class region of Pittsburgh, meaning she had to go to one of the highest-ranked schools in the state. Because of this, there weren't a lot of people that acted like her. The ones she did know hated her. For months, Angela and Ellie would be the target of mass bullying, mostly by the popular kids. As time passed, Angela slowly began to obtain symptoms of depression and became paranoid about what others think of her.

One day, at a local park, Angela and Ellie were sitting together playing Pokemon when a group of popular girls tried to steal Ellie's Nintendo DS. Angela tried to get it back, only to find that the head of the clique took pity on her, stating that she had 'potential'. Upon further discussion, she told Angela that you're either a 'popular' person or you're nothing. Those who aren't would fade away into irrelevance.

This stuck with Angela for the better part of three years and she attempted to shift her personality in order to try and be more like the 'popular' kids. Thing is, she didn't have an idea on how to go about it. Inspired by cheesy teen romance films, novels, and chick flick 'Mean Girls', Angela transformed her entire image, making her voice breathier, using the world 'like" in almost every sentence, and being a jerk to anyone she came across. She also tried to distance herself from Ellie as much as possible, even through high school.

Despite it all, elements of who she used to be would still pop out on occasion. It wouldn't be until an incident at her high school's prom convinced her that this was not going to work. Her mind went into a dark place for several days and it genuinely felt that Angela didn't understand who she was anymore. That was around the time she moved to New York and met Kylie Morrison, her new next-door neighbor (who had also recently moved in). Thanks to her kind-hearted, caring and understanding nature, Angela began to find her purpose in life and embraced her positive traits.

Today, Angela is a quirky, lovable girl who is fiercely devoted to those she is closest towards and is slowly growing confident in herself every day. This newfound confidence has helped her win friends faster than she ever did when she was attempting to be 'popular' (and has even caught the attention of some of the guys). Among her friend group (consisting of Jenna, Kylie and Ellie), Angela is seen as the mediator and often settles disagreements and conflicts in a rational manner. Angela can still get anxious about what others think of her and can try a bit too hard to find a date, but she gets up and tries to be 'Angielicious' every day.

She has created two catchphrases. Swag-gela and Angielicious. While Swag-gela is simply Angela's declaration of something being awesome, Angielicious took on a life of it's own, going from a boast Angela would make to being a word that means being the best person Angela can be.

Among Angela's favorite games right now include Fall Guys, Pokemon, Undertale, and Friday Night Funkin.

Angela is a SpongeBob Squarepants diehard and it's often you'll find her in her bedroom on her bed wearing SponeBob pajamas either playing Pokemon or watching someone on her phone.

For all her faults as a wanna-be popular girl, Angela does have good fashion sense. Her main alternate outfit consists of her wearing a baseball cap, a t-shirt with the words 'New York' on them, and a denim mini-skirt with white and blue boots. She also wears a beige T-Shirt with a shirt pocket and tight jeans on occasion.

Angela was diagnosed with depression at the age of thirteen. She takes medicine for it every day and has at least one visit with her local therapist every month.
