(2009 Drawing, A2 paper)Another pencil drawing added to my grand collection… But this time I wanted to draw a person to see how I’d manage. As before, I used a range of pencils from 2H to 6B, which took me about 3-4 months on and off to complete because of other distractions.
The Dark Knight is still probably my all-time favourite movie. It turned out to be much better then I was expecting… and I had high expectations.

this looks so fantastic
i never really got the expression on harvey's face at that point, i was always too distracted by the left side of his face. You picked a great moment to draw and you drew it very well especially with charcoal. (i hate it too)

Thanks, Jerry. It was pretty easy trying to find a frame with this expression on his face... because he was always pissed-off 
I used standard pencils to draw this (2H to 6B). I don't think I’d ever choose to touch a piece of charcoal for the rest of my life. Nasty, nasty stuff. I'm with you on that one.

Thanks for the comment! Actually, I was forced to use charcoal a number of times at school. I really hated the stuff. Made too much of a mess, and I couldn’t correct any of my mistakes (I make hundreds of corrections during a drawing
