Wow, this is old... I think I may have done this in 2007?

Anyway, just found this in a giant stack of unfinished drawings and this was only one of two that I decided to keep. The other one, albeit cool, is VERY unfinished so I will not be posting it.

The composition is a little weak here because, like I said, it is unfinished. I think a sad poem to the right of the figure and a long shadow cast towards the bottom left-hand side of the page would do this wonders but since that would involve work and some poetic writing ability (which I lack, sadly) this will have to do.

In case anyone was wondering, I did not intentionally pull the poor skinless man's heart out and break it in front of him. In fact I had completed the drawing of him before I even realized that his heart was missing. Drawing it in front of him in pieces was just an afterthought since I figured I should include the heart and I couldn't get it to stay in one piece outside of his chest.
