Holy monkey. I knew it was detailed, but how long did that painting actually take to complete?

haha, all in all the total drawing time (it's actually a bunch of little cut up colored pencil drawings stuck together) was about 100 hours. It took me about another 2 hours to glue everything down. Unfortunately all the pictures are beginning to peel off and I have no idea what to do to seal them back on since apparently the spray glue didn't do its job very well.

Hmm. You could try Letratac, it's like pre-sprayed glue you burnish down. Also, some sealers like acrylic gel mediums or acid-free Mod Podge can go over top and glue at the same time.
I'd suggest gluing only the back though so there's no chance of smudges.

I actually bought some Mod Podge last year to try to fix it up with. Unfortunately when i get the time to restore it I would just rather draw something new!
