My entry to oreorc 's ice cream cow DTA This took me a long time to complete. It was my first time drawing water and I added alot of details and shading (zoom in to look at all that detail!)
When I saw her, I immediately got reminded of the donut float ring and had to draw her with it.
I'm still learning how to draw chubby bodies (and coloring water) , so bare with me.
Some info on her:
Name: Madeleine Reese (madeleine is a small sponge cake and Reese means from the candy, so together it's cake from the candy, and that's donuts)
Age: 22
Info: Madeleine is very cheerful and energetic. She loves the summer because she can go swimming! She's not afraid of glitter and loves to scrapbook. Every summer she's interested in something new, so she's learned alot and is kind of a jack of all trades. Her voice is kind of like that of Venelope's (from wreck it Ralph)and Amethyst' (Steven universe) , but less harsh.
I'm so excited! I really hope I win her because I'll have a little chubby Bab to practice chubby bodies on, and I'll actually enjoy struggling because she's such a cute character and a beautiful design
And the species are so cute!

I love the big donut! What a sweet twist on a classic summer theme x3 This looks amazing, especially the parts where her hair/tail are partially submerged. I'm trying to learn water myself, I think you nailed it

And yeah, water is hard to get, I don't think I nailed it fully, but it's good for a first time,lol.
I honestly don't really even know what I did, I was just playing around trying to make water happen, I'm not the best at it either, so I'm not the best to give any tips. Sorry
But one thing I do know is just look and play with water. Fill a bowl with water and half submerge your hand in it and see that no matter how submerged your fingers are,the water will form a circular or oval shape around it (unless it's an object with edges, like a cube)

And yes, great minds do think alike. I remembered I had a blue iced doughnut float tube last year, and that's how I got inspired.
