This picture is so beautiful! I love the atmosphere, and your coloring style is the main reason why. I love the highlights and the way you did the shading: the tails and the puffins stand out to me, along with the cushion.

Oh, in no way is that a bad thing! It's still a nice comment to get; I don't even get that kind of a comment on my own things, lmao.
It's just a personal thing. Although I'm usually dissatisfied with my art 99% of the time, when there's a piece I do like, there's always that one little thing or two that I'm proud of. So when someone comments and points out they like those things too (and/or other things), it makes me feel even prouder of myself. And it's nice to know people noticed those little things, too.
And I guess I just like how it feels more personal. 
And homg, that's so ironic... I've been having my Mawile character on my mind recently. I've been listening to some music and I've been feeling like expanding on him again. And don'tcha know, you linked a Mawile picture.
That's just plain adorable, too. Mawile has been one of my favorites since it was revealed in Gen III~

then people say things such as "oh this is very nice" which makes me say to myself "what's so nice about it? ?"
..so yeah like what you just said, when they point out the stuff you worked hard on it makes you feel nice
My next artwork will have Mawile so yeah, I was doodling around yesterday because I can't come up with backgrounds... Dx

What, no, how can you not like your art. ;v; You clearly have a lot of talent! And if anything, this Vulpix is just one piece that proves it. And that one picture of Mega Lucario transforming takes the cake even more. I can't even describe how beautiful that one is I need to be a stalker and go comment on that one too, lmao
I know, right? And see, I think that's why I try to say what I like, because I've posted my things to friends for years and all they ever said was like... "Nice". And then I'm like... but... but anything else? Or they would mock my art ololol so for a time I wouldn't even show anything to anyone unless I had reasons to be proud of it, lawl. I only showed my art to like two people for a long time so actually it kinda feels nice to be on dA. I don't get comments much at all, but people have put my things in their favorites so I guess that counts for something. :,v Hahah.
Awh yeah Mawiiiiiile. Can't wait to see! And yeah once I do this little thing for a person on here I'm on vacation in like three week days and then I'll try to draw some of my Pokemon characters again if I have a chance between traveling/driving and doing things with family hahahah
