and lastly, this is the "Fun magic" peice i was talking about in the poll. I wanted to do something colorful and full background similar to my "Alice in CandyLand" peice. Hope you like it!Inspirations and References: Alice in wonderland and Diagon Alley.

This is the second time that I am going to critique =JAD-Ardat , giving Alice in Candyland my first. The colors and concept are great. I have been a Harry Potter fan since I was 11 years old and him bringing me to his version of Diagon Alley really makes me leap for joy. Whimsy is filled with colors that compliments each other. His vision is clearly from a teenager's point of view where there is maturity and childishness present at the same time, that balances the whole picture. I can spend my time walking for hours in Diagon Alley if =JAD-Ardat 's Whimsy is what the Magical World's shopping area really looks like. This art really deserves a round of applause.

This is a really impressive artwork that you have uploaded for us. I like the entire concept of how dark, yet colourful it is. You have come up with a fantastic concept.
First of all, the perspective on this piece is fantastic! It shows alot of depth and how much detail you are able to add. The way you have drawn the buildings, the doors, the roofs and floor/ground is very inspiring! It seems so well set out, very cartoon-like yet with hints of realism!
You have also put alot of effort into your colouring, and you have placed the right shades in the right places, giving the image a 3D look. It makes the art much more bolder! The colours do not hurt the eyes, you have matched them well which is quite hard when it is a chaotic background.
Though the only problem I seem to pick out is the girl's proportions. Her torso seems quite broad and short, making her arms look quite stiff. The way you have shaded her breasts seem to perked, in reality they are not too round. Her legs are also well crossed but they seem slightly twisted. The leg underneath seems to be coming out from no-where which gives her an odd shape. Her face is absolutely wonderful though and her outtfit is quite interesting!
I also love the writing in the background xD
Overall, this is a really wonderful piece with a nice concept, good viewing for the audience. Much filled with happiness and mystery.

Gorgeous colors in this piece, although the composition is a tad messy. But, it's not really bothering, as it gives the viewer the chance to look again and again and discover something new every time.

It aint bad but... the composition tends to be chaotic. As a viewer, i ma not really sure what should I focus on. The character? The backround? Colors? Lines? There are just too many things... That is too bad, because it seems you are quite skilled in the technique.
