Here's how the story goes!
Once upon a time, there was a royal couple named King Goofy and Queen Clarabelle. They gave birth to a baby princess and named her "Princess Briar Rose". Queen Clarabelle said to King Goofy, "Let's host a royal gala and invite the entire kingdom!" "Of course!" King Goofy said happily. "And we have to invite the 6 fairies!" So, King Goofy and Queen Clarabelle made an announcement that they're hosting a royal gala in mark of The Birth of Princess Briar Rose. The entire kingdom was invited including the 6 fairies!
The royal gala had finally arrived and many people are having a great time. Each of the 6 fairies has special gifts for Princess Briar Rose. The first fairy, Mille, said, "I'll give you The Gift of Wisdom, be the wiser ruler in the kingdom!" The second fairy, Melody, said, "I'll give you The Gift of Songs, you will sing along with your friends!" The third fairy, Daisy, said, "You will be a gifted ruler when you become our princess, not just people, but nature's creatures, plants and all things green, so I'll give you the Gift of Nature!" The fourth fairy, Webby, said, "I'll give you The Gift of Beauty, so your youth will admire you!" The fifth fairy, May, said, "I'll give you The Gift of Grace, may never stumble or fall!"
As the sixth fairy, June, was about to give Princess Briar Rose her gift, a storm interrupted her! 'How dare you not invite me!" A voice shouted. Then, the wicked fairy named Bruetella appeared right in front of the 6 fairies and King Goofy and Queen Clarabelle! "I will give your daughter, Princess Briar Rose, my gift." Bruetella said. But, instead of the special gift, she put a curse on poor Princess Briar Rose! "On your 15th Birthday, you will prick your figure upon a spindle of the spinning wheel and die!" Bruetella said. And she disappeared. King Goofy and Queen Clarabelle became very worried. "I still have my gift." June said. "I cannot change the curse, but I will soften it. Princess Briar Rose will not die when she prick her upon a spinning wheel. Instead, she will fall into a deep, deep sleep and Prince Mickey from the neighboring country will save her by giving a kiss and break the curse!"
King Goofy announced all spinning wheels in the kingdom shall be DESTORYED! Years passed, as Princess Briar Rose turned 15, she went outside and saw a tower up ahead. She curiosity walked inside the tower. "Hm? What is this place?" Princess Briar Rose asked. She went to the top and saw an old lady spinning a wheel to make a dress. "Excuse me." Princess Briar Rose said. "What is this?" "It's a spinning wheel." The old lady said. "Why don't you go ahead and try it?" Princess Briar Rose walked to the spinning wheel and pricked her finger upon a spindle! She fell into a deep, deep sleep. Bruetella's curse has been finally cast! The 6 fairies waved their magic wands and make everyone asleep including King Goofy and Queen Clarabelle!
Suddenly, Prince Mickey from the neighboring country came to the castle. He have heard the tales of Sleeping Beauty. "She needs my help!" Prince Mickey said. He ran to the castle. Using his sword, Prince Mickey chops it down to make a path. Finally, Prince Mickey came inside to the royal bedroom. "That's princess was so pretty!" Prince Mickey said. He kissed her on the cheeks and Princess Briar Rose had finally woke her up! "Prince Mickey!" Princess Briar Rose said happily. "Thank you for saving me from Bruetella's curse!" "You're welcome!" Prince Mickey said. And so, Princess Briar Rose and Prince Mickey got married and lived happily ever after!
