I think about a month ago now I got my 10,000th page view. Did I ever think I'd get that far? Maybe in about 10 years, but I've only been around here for 4. I'm really grateful to all of you who have watched my art through the years and I thought to show my appreciation, I'd go back to where it all started. Essentially with being dorky and reading too much fanfiction. Much like "Under the Eye of the Moon," this picture is a revamp of previous work for another author. Probably the most memorable scene in her work (for me anyway,) a portrait of Kenshin dancing with Kaoru in JaneDrew's "Frozen Moonlight."

Kept original concept and ideas and tried to improve upon them by about 1000%. Not sure if I got up to 1000, but this is certainly better. Thanks to all of you and please enjoy.

Things I like about this picture: overall improvement on anatomy, line work, color palette

Things I dislike/would like to improve: general coloring style, heavy shading, hair fluidity

There's a much larger version of this that's the main file, but I shrunk it down to what I believed to be the ideal capture of the entire thing.

One thing that has not changed in 4 years. I'm still lazy as hell when it comes to backgrounds. Sorry about that.
