Description oh how i love the look of IR photography. and oh how blessed was i to be granted a day with the use of a lovely Nikon conversion. i must have this camera.

i kinda liked the funky colors in this one after i played around with the levels and the channels and such. don't ask how i managed the colors because i'm really not even sure myself. i just played with the sliders til i got what i wanted. something entirely surreal..unreal. the unreality of it all.

You definitely need to start taking more photos, these are incredible It does look very surreal. It reminds me of the movie The Cell...have you ever seen it?? Granted it has Jennifer Lopez in it, but I promise, it's very cool if you've never watched it.

and yes, i've seen that movie..definitely a very surreal movie...and quite a mind bender if i remember correctly. i'm going to have to watch it again!!!!!

Both these images are so cool! And I don't say that cuz they look like winter. The IR definitely makes it looks so surreal. At the same time it makes it look hyper-real. Like I've stepped onto an alien world or jumped to another dimension. Every looks similar to Earth but with significant differnces. Okay, I'm rambling but this is what your pics do to me. Thanks for the trip.

my pleasure. i always like giving people a little ride n surprise.
and i love the infrared look of photography. its so beautiful the way the colors come out...i can't wait til i can afford an infrared camera of my own...my mom was awesome enough to lend this one to me for a bit to play with..i keep seeing stuff i want to take pictures of now.

most cameras require a filter to get this effect..or to be converted to a special kind of camera. i love infrared! i know there is some post processing filters you can use in photoshop to get a faux infrared effect.
