Scarlet makes me think of starlet.I AM ABSOLUTELY PROUD OF THE FACT THAT
I did not edit this photo AT ALL. except for the border.
Photo: Taken on 5" exposure with two external flashes, one with a red colour filter.
P/S: that lens flare from the street lamp is a bitch.
I will cry if I get DD for this.

I like the flare, it makes me think of the Sixth Sense, heh. Love the jungle-like, exotic dynamic all the color and high-contrast creates, too. Way to stick it to Photoshop ;D

To be honest with you the lensflare makes that photo just that little bit better! I htink it would probably have looked ordinary without, but it just adds that little flash of glamour!

Well it certainly is a very good photo, to which you did excessive work. It really payed off. I admire people who can make a photograph look so incredibly sharp and colourfull while also actually taking an original picture in an original situation.

Great one, the colors strike me first, love the blue net. Sad with the flare and maybe some noice in the sky? The sense of movement is nice and the pose and cropping.

yep, awesome photograph! ok, the lens flare... but i think it doesn't 'destroy' anything or has a negative influence to the whole picture. how could she stand so still for 5 seconds?
without editing, it's really faszinating for me how you got this colours of the net. well done!

lol. well, the colours were from the external flashes that i used, one with a red filter that made the red lines and the other was just a white flash from the side to get the sharp light. Actually, the flash would make the image burn onto the 'film' so.. on a long exposure in a dark area, her slight movements wouldn't show up on the picture.
