Zoe Jones was regarded as one of the best Surfers in the World. She won multiple Surfer contest, was on the cover of Sports Magazines, TV interviews; Zoe had it all. A shark attack incident had brought it all to a halt. Zoe legs were injured and her surfing career was over. Her agent screwed her out of her contract taking the bulk of her cash and Zoe's life was on a downward spiral.
With no other option Zoe had taken advantage of her brothers deep sea diving pod to search for Deep Sea Artifacts and sell them on the black markets for cash to pay off debts. This drew the attention of several crime organizations and pirates who paid top dollar for findings that were deemed priceless. Zoe went from best Surfer in the world to the top treasure hunter. This new fame brought about a new investor to Zoe's new hobby, The Yakuza

The Yakuza came to Zoe with a offer. She helps them discover the Lost Island of Mu also known as the Kingdom of Lemuria; The Pacific Oceans Atlantis. And they will help restore Zoe legs so she can do what she loves again as well as fund her new Surfing career. While hesitant Zoe took the offer. The Gang put together a crew to help Zoe find the lost kingdom. Luckily for them Zoe had a Fixation on Lemuria ever since Atlantis had come out tot the public. She knew the kingdom existed somewhere.

While on the expedition the crew had gotten close to discovering Lemuria. Once the Yakuza had all the info they needed one of the lieutents of the Organization ordered the killing of all the crew members. Zoe was on a deep sea dive at the time inside of her brothers deep sea pod. The Gang disconnected the cord and Zoe's pod feel into the abyss. Zoe became unconscious as she feel below to her supposed death. She awaken in a room unknown to her with strange pictures and artifacts and crystals around the room. Then she realized where she was. In the Kingdom of Lemuria. She was greeted by a Lemurian High Priestess who was foretold of her arrival. She was aware that Zoe had lead people to their Kingdom and that while in a normal instance she would be excuted they gave her the opportunity to make good on what she had done. The High Priest sense she had a good heart and if she truly was a good soul deep down she would survive a journey into The Crystal Waters of Life. Which was a giant Whirlpool within a crystal Cavern. The Lemurians would throw Zoe into the Whirlpool and either she will emerge their Guardian and Protector or she will perish. Zoe went into the Waters screaming for her life then Blacked out. She awakened on a beach Shore feeling like everything was a dream. Then to her surprise she stood up. Zoe was able to walk again. Then a crystal necklace around her neck made her realize it was no dream.

Zoe Noticed she had to control not just over water but she herself was a Water elemental. Making good on to the Lemuria who had restored her legs Zoe found the Yakuzi members before they made their next expediation to Lemuria. She spared known of them and got rid of the Leader of the Yakuzi. Unknowingly to her this branch of the Yakuzi worked directly under a Japanese Pirate Organization known as The Akkorokamui , named after a Japanese Octopus Yokai due to the long reach they had overseas like a Giant Octopus they are the primary influence in the crime underworld along the seas. Nothing comes into any port or any harbor without The Akkorokamui knowing about it. They are truly the Shadow of the Seas. So Zoe took up the name Lady Cascade and would use her power to no only protect and guard Lemuria and its secrets but to fight back against the Pirates and free the seas of its influence.
