sorry to keep bugging you on this- i'm totally curious about this! lol.
are you using a wheel, or coil technique to make the pot? What kind of clay? How is it coming along? lol

I am just using standard pottery clay, and im doing it by hand >.< the hair isnt a problem, its that its all so heavy so its making it sag and fall apart. -this is also a school project for art that i am dooing- it was coming along really well untill someone thought it funny to drop it, so that gave me the excuse to start over. I have so far again made the base thicker with coils and have started on the head X3 im happy now, as its working

Thank you! It was kind of one of those accidental things, that worked-so I added to it. The original already had that shaded bit in, because of my bad scan job, but I darkened the wing and cleared out the negative space. i went back in and lightened individual feathers. So you could say it was both purposeful and not.
