Squire Model 77 or "the Hexbot" was one of the most common robotic models in the gauss galaxy. They were produced in immense by state entities for general purpose industrial, construction, demolition, and manual labor purposes and maintenance purposes use and sold on the civilian market to prospective buyers. Estimates say there are five SQ-77's for every citizen of the gauss dominion, not to mention other models of specialized or humanoid squire robots. Most of these bots operate, build and maintain orbital infrastructure and starships.

The bots even primarily operate the factories that mass produce more of themselves and the needed replacement parts. Though they are not fully capable of being a full "clanking self replicator" without intervention due to legislation regarding self-replicating machinery.

Those sold on the civilian market. Most buyers use them for their intended purpose, though they may paint them, reprogram them, or modify the tool loadout for a specific purpose. They tend to be used in a huge number of less-than-ideal circumstances simply because they are rugged, versatile, and so very easily procured. A large number of them work agricultural jobs in archaeologies and orbital farms picking fruit and vegetables, planting seeds, or applying fertilizer. The microbots even being used to pollenate plants in artificial farms that did not import pollenating insects.
