Description
The Omniscience Class was a heavy warship commissioned for the Gauss Dominion Astronavy. The ship was designed to serve in a support and command role while also possessing the most of the teeth of a frontline battleship. The ship uniquely carried 24 Shogun frigates which in combination with its extensive interdiction and normalization arrays could engage in long range tactical FTL strikes. The ship also featured a very advanced sensor suite designed specifically to identify stealth ships, earning its namesake, as well as turreted subspace displacement cannons prototyped on the earlier Maven Class super heavy cruiser, who's effectiveness could also be boosted by the normalization array, mostly negating the energy syphon's weakness to interdiction.
