Say hello to Carid! The second revealed character from a comic we will hopefully be making inspired by a custom DnD realm.

Carid Gariche is a lizardfolk who thrives in the danger of the fight. When he was arrested at a young age and sent to among the worst human prisons, he knew that the best way to survive was to become notorious for his strength, a natural gift of the lizardfolk. He began this goal when he loudly declared that he would fight anyone who wished to on his first day imprisoned. As expected, his notoriety quickly grew as Carid took down many feared opponents yet refused to scar or maim. This brought him popularity for his fair fighting among his opponents, both guards and prisoners alike, who he got quite friendly with whilst in the shadows learning basic earth magic to increase his ferocity in battle. Everything was well. Until a tragedy struck.

Due to a high crime rate because of recent events, the prison where he resided had seen a rampant increase in population. This meant more work for their oh so kind resident warden who wasn’t having it. In order to cull the population of inmates, the warden hired multiple mercenary groups to incite a slaughter. And slaughter they did as they tore through the ranks of inmates after murdering the guards who attempted to protect them.

Until one foolish mercenary attempted to kill Carid, shining light in the situation for the now fully grown lizardfolk who spent the last few years of his life fighting among his friends who were now strewn around the facility as corpses. In a fit of rage, he cut down the mercenaries in consecutive brutal styles before killing the warden as well in an act of revenge for his fallen allies. That day Carid walked out of the prison alive, yet according to reputable sources he was dead. He settled down in the desert where he set up his own gang while rumours of the lizardman who filleted the last warden who chained him down spread across the region.
