Bernd and I walked across a fairground, when we were in Bremerhaven for a visit. It was too early for the stalls to be open ... Although everything was very silent, the foreshadowing of activity, of hustle and bustle was in the air. Bernd wrote this tanka, and I took pictures.

The atmosphere - expectant and a little sad - would have thrilled a fairy, too!
