The setting, a small town, Halloween. What the people of this sleepy town don't know is that the Pumpkin Moon will soon pay them a visit that they won't soon forget.
The Pumpkin Moon can appear at any time during the Fall. It does not have to be Halloween, let alone October for this special form of the moon to appear. The pumpkin is not just a Halloween fruit after all. All those that see the Pumpkin Moon or bathe under it's eerie orange light are transformed into pumpkins. For how long you ask? That depends on the strength of the Pumpkin Moon's magic that year. Depending on this fact, the transformation from human to pumpkin can last anywhere from a single night to a full week! It will not be until the Pumpkin Moon sets on the last day will the pumpkins become people again.
