Description
I wanted to do something before the Avatar finale airs tonight, so I put this together within a few hours
This is also the first real fan art I did for Avatar in a little over a year (darn the freaky season 3 schedule), so my character drawing skills may have failed in this one, lol XDInspired by Zuko saying how their family used to actually be happy
I've got several hopes and predictions for the finale, but I won't bore anyone with that <3

This makes me sad because after reading the "Search" the image we are seeing is a lie. And what's sad is that when Zuko talks about his family used to be happy, it makes us see that Ozai manipulated people and Ursa long before the kids were born and the happy times he had as a child were lies.

I love the colour scheme. It looks a lot like a precious, but faded photograph.
One minor thing: the heads of the grown-ups are a bit too large for their bodies and the hands too small. You did a really good job though on the perspective of Zuko's outstretched arm though. Shortening stuff to get perspective right is very difficult and you did it incredibly well!

Aww, thanks! I can hardly stand to look at this myself anymore; looking back at old art is haaard, lol. I completely agree with you on the things you pointed out, though I daresay I've improved since then. Seriously, there needs to be more critics like you out there! You tell what needs to be improved on while still being nice about it; that is awesome and I really appreciate you taking the time to do that

Y'know, Ozai never did answer Zuko on where his mother was. So, could this perhaps mean a special episode on the life and days of the Royal Fire Family?
Truly, I'm depressed that there's no more Avatar.

True... But I heard, while reading *GreenifyME 's journal that there will be some one hour specials of Avatar: The Last Airbender. And I've read in interviews that Mike and Bryan will be making a new Avatar series and will also help with the movie coming out in 2010 ^_^

Oh yes! Except that the movies have already been confirmed and I think M. Night Shyamalan (the director) has talked about using CG, and it sounds like the bending'll be really cool!
