I apologize for the lateness of this page. I was at a friend's house and my computer didn't want to connect to her internet, so I had to wait til I got home to post it. I'm still having computer issues, but a new computer should be on its way in a few weeks.
I've been weirdly enjoying attempting to draw a speedy and agile cow in these last few pages. I always wondered how a cow Pokemon could be faster than a few of my own Pokemon in-game, and I had fun trying to emulate that in this chapter. I also have liked experimenting with paneling for this fight scene, too. Tell me what you think!

My predictions.
I’m almost curtain that Rhonda will live to fight another day, at the same time, this rolling desert drink seems to be a bit too much for the team right now, I think Will will forfeit the match to save Rhonda and protect her from any further unnecessary abuse since she is clearly outmatched at the moment.
Rhonda has changed a lot for the better in a short time, but she still has a lot to learn. Her teamwork still need some work and her inability to keep her composure and listen is why she is currently losing and having the battle go the way it has and still having her come out of it victorious would be a good “move ending” where the tables suddenly turns out of nowhere ad for no real reason to provide the audience with a feel god resolution.
Something I personally (in my infinite wisdom 
That would affect her much, MUCH more than getting beaten up but still wining in the end, she would be forced to take a close look at herself and her role in the team and the laws in her own behavior and personality. She would mentally distance herself from the team once again, with the justification that she didn’t belong there after all ad that she had no place there if (in her own mind) “she couldn’t even with a battle”, giving her, the team and Will an important hurdle to overcome and truly making Rhonda a part of the team, even in her own mind. Such a scenario would also give Whitney’s line a few pages earlier “What is she lose” a lot more impact and meaning in hindsight, instead of just being a random and out of place taunt. She is a gym leader after all and one could expect of her to have respect for her opponents, trainers and Pokémon alike.
The team would come out of this stronger and more unified. Rhonda would have more confidence in herself and her newfound willingness to listen to instructions during battle could be the deciding factor in their ultimate victory. This would make a lot more in term of development for the entire team that a random last minute victory.
The point is, no matter how whey get this badge, is will be a pivotal part in Rhonda’s character development….Unless she actually die with I don’t accept as a possibility…. Please don’t do it ^_^

Huh, interesting.
I will say that Rhonda losing her composure at this point is not necessarily just her inability to listen, it's also got a lot to do with her past and her insecurities. But as you say, she still needs to re-evaluate her position in the team.
I will also say that Whitney's taunt is not entirely out of place as she tends to not show much respect to others (as seen by her comments about her fellow gym leaders and her general attitude towards Will even before the match started).
But we shall see how right or wrong you are...

100 Base Speed. Never a fun thing to be on the receiving end of, especially given most of your Pokémon at this stage don't even come close to that speed. That's part of what makes Whitney so dangerous for Nuzlockers, they either have to work against that speed with a high defense or undermine Miltank's attacks.

Yes! Like how is Miltank so fast?! I don't get it! My team wasn't especially speedy either. :/

I haven't the slightest clue. XD I was going to make a bull comparison (given some iterations of Miltank depict that), but the only other real example is Tauros (and maybe Bouffalant, but it's speed is greatly reduced in comparison). All I can really deduce is that someone up there when deciding Miltank's stats thought cows were really, REALLY fast. XD Who knows, maybe they are?

Hmm, seems a cow's running speed is about 40km/h or 25mph which is faster than the average human...
Let's see, other animals that match that are, elephants, camels, bears? Not necessarily the fastest things out there.

I love the way the fight's playing out! That the injury to Rhonda's right clavicle bone from earlier forces her to fight southpaw, which I get the feeling isn't her dominant hand. Milkshake's close maneuvering to get on Rhonda's right, where the Machop can't defend, to stun, then deliver that flying kick to the gut really shows how well trained she is as a fighter.
Paneling is pretty good. I like the approach to the close melee in the 3rd row and the texture on the heavy impact background (I don't really know what that's called-- the orange/yellow one) in the 5th is a nice improvement.

Thanks so much! I'm glad all those little details in the fight are coming across! One of the things I like about writing/drawing fight scenes is to have the actual strategy and flow of the fight make sense. There needs to be a cause-and-effect of what gets hurt, what is affecting the battlers, and what techniques they'd use to overcome their opponent.
Thanks about the paneling! It's hard to get a lot of those smaller, quick movements in there while still looking kind of interesting. For the big impact background, I guess I went with a more textured, scratchy (?yeah, idk what to call it either?) style because it looks more painful (? not sure how a texture can look painful, but I guess that's what art is to try to emulate a feeling visually).

The paneling throughout this fight scene has done a good job of augmenting the motion of the fight. I also like your shifting of the background colors to wordlessly highlight Rhonda's rage. It makes the last panel particularly poignant.
Also, I LOVED the myriad (and varied fonts and colors for) sound effects this page. It made the fight "sound" varied in addition to the differing panel styling, which was awesome. My favorite was probably "splurt." The red-on-orange with inverted slant and kerning and "battle wind" (does that have a term?) made that one kind of hard to read.
And as others have said, this battle is embodying the chapter's title in both the good and bad ways (for the characters) (all of which are great for the story). I'm really looking forward to hearing what the fallout of this will be (gotta believe Rhonda's OK, right... right... ahem)

Wow! Thank you so much! Yeah, I try to make the background colors fit the mood of the character. So it goes from bright and red and raging to dark and depressed by the end as Rhonda is losing her fire, so to speak.
I'm having a lot of fun with the fonts. I'm really glad to have found some free font sites that have been super helpful with getting some of these, and then I can further warp them depending on where I use it. I'm glad the you like the "splurt" - that one was actually an afterthought, so I'm glad I added it in. The one with Milkshake kicking Rhonda in the stomach is hard to read? Yeah, I did make the font color a bit too much like the background color. That one is a "whump". I think the font style is called "cracked narrow" or something like that? I also slanted it. I like it when you don't even have to be able to read the sound effect to get a feel for the sound it is portraying. So even if it is hard to read, you can still "hear" the "whump".
Heck, I'm really excited to show it! I'm really curious how people will react to the next page, in particular...

Actually, for this chapter, I have been intentionally vague when it comes to who will develop after this chapter.
I did mention in Rhonda's first chapter that she'd develop later. This chapter is later. Doesn't mean she'll survive past it.

I don't know, it may just be how it's portrayed. Like I've watched/read a bunch of stuff where the death of a character can be at the same time a big development moment for them. It's usually really sad and depressing, but still good.

BUt rthis page is really dynamic and nice!! the cow dance panels are great lmao. I also really love the panels where rhonda gets kicked in the tummy and is rolling back, the panel where shes rolling back the poses are super strong and really suggest a lot of harsh movement there its reall cool !!!!

Man, that is one fast and graceful Miltank. Certainly just about no one would expect that, giving Whitney an advantage in surprise tactics. Poor Rhonda is too caught up in being made to feel inferior to listen and the beat down is getting brutal. Not to mention that while she has fought this gym before, Whitney has had time to learn from not just facing the same species before, but the exact same one. Rhonda may be a strong fighter, but her old tricks won't help here. She needs to listen to Will and/or Liberty to pull through with something unexpected. This is getting tense, It almost seems like Rhonda could die.
