I think they could've done better with the last 5 or so minutes
because aside from that, I think the game is fantastic and its multiplayer is really well done (and I personally think it's well... "fit", I mean, in the game's story, it wouldn't really have made much sense to add it on ME or ME2, but it does in ME3 since it's a full-scale war with multiple armies cooperating)

Not only that, but the kid from the beginning really had no reason to be in the game besides for the ending.

from what I remember, the kid at the start is just there to apply emotional weight or something like that
