Yeah. So I assume everyone already heard the news of Dumbledore being gay. And there's probably a billion fanartses of it, but how did Grindelwald react? (yeah, I know he's dead, but whatever. LoL.)Well, this is what I think he'll do. hehe. Poor, Grindelwald. He must feel really awkward. Everyone assumes that he's gay too, I think, but J. K. Rowling didn't really confirm that.
And whoa! I drew J. K. Rowling! I drew someone who's fo realz! LoL. (well, besides myself...that was hard too.) I like how she turned out.
I'm still experimenting with my coloring style. And I inked this one different than usual. I did it on tracing paper and not on the original drawing. Tracing paper kinda sucks, the ink kinda spreads and spikes out. What is tracing paper good for?

Hahaha this is cute! Love how you drew Gellert. Yeah, when I was reading the last book when it first came out, my mind automatically was like, "woah, Dumbledore's a bit cutesy with this Gellert guy...maybe he's gay?" then I moved on. When the news came out that JK had intended for that to be the case, I was so happy. I had guessed RIGHT! I think it's awesome she made a gay character. It's the 21st century, and kids SHOULD be exposed to such ideas, because it's not abnormal. I bet the crazy religious people hated it though (cackles).

I love the fact that Dumbledore's gay because my parents are uber-concervitive christians who don't like practicing gays and automatically assume that just because a headmaster is gay he must be looking at his young male students in a pervy way and they adore Dumbledore so I have something to laugh at because they totally ignore my points (with references from the book) that Dumbledore is an evil manipulative bastard. Apparently it's only when I get to a point they don't like that I'm "reading into things too much" but when they do it it's what Jo wanted and intended. stupid parents.

Personally I think JK did mean for them both to have been a budding couple... she is very much for gay rights and all that. Plus she's well aware of what her fans are like! Of course she knew that no detail was needed when it comes to slash fans! They define the phrase 'reading between the lines'. So of course Miss JK knew what she was setting in motion. She's a crafty lady! :3
