THIS picture gets a "Fear"-Smiley! You know why? Well the monsters in this picture don't really frighten me that much, BUT they remind me of the "Twin Victims" from "Silent Hill 4: The Room" >> [link] ..and these creatures use to scare the shit out of you!

Hehe, yeah. It's quite hard to fight enemies quickly on the PC. Must get better at it.

I use a gamepad and XInput - it feels so natural and it's so much more convenient.
Why don't you try it?

Yeah, it's just finding a gamepad that works because I never seemed to get one to work for my laptop... the computer might be different, though.

Well, if you want to, try using THIS with your gamepad. Just unrar it in \your Alice Madness Returns directory\Game\Alice2\Binaries\Win32 and launch the game. It's worked flawlessly with every gamepad I've tested it with so far.

Thank you. I'll try that when it comes to it. Got to get another gamepad first hehe.

I just hope you get it to work when you do, the controls are is really fluid with a gamepad, it's very enjoyable.

Cool Yeah, with the keyboard it's very frustrating sometimes. I have some problems jumping to moving ledges because of trying to move the camera with it, and dodging enemy attacks is quite hard too.

Oh, I know what you're talking about.
I just didn't feel the flow of combat, plus, as you said, dodging and jumping was sometimes frustratingly annoying. The controls and the camera were kind of clunky and unresponsive.

Fortunately, I love playing my platformers (both old-school NES-era ones and more recent ones) and action games with platforming elements, like Tomb Raider or Assassin's Creed, for example with a controller anyway, so I switched somewhere in the Hatter's Domain, a little after the big fight with the Eyepots+Ruins in the room with the platforms that instantly kill you.

Aww yeah. I actually didn't have much trouble with the Eyepot on PC. On the PS3, it took me several tries. But then I realised I could use the Pepper Grinder on it
