After days of searching Jaguar had found Robotnik with the hope that the doctor had found some way to save their reality from breaking apart. Sadly the doctor had spent days on trying to solve the problem without a single solution in sight. Chalkboards were filled to the brim with numerous equations with all leading to the same outcome being doom. All save for one. It had been the most promising theory that Robotnik had uncovered but sadly the mad scientist ultimately hit a dead end when he discovered there was only one being who could utilize it. He revealed that at the time when their universe was in it's final phase of breaking up, a single and solid breach would appear. A breach that some one with a high phantom ruby power signature could punch through. Some one like Infinite.

Should he succeed, he would be able to go to another reality and through his powers slowly poison and break it apart just like the powers of the Phantom Ruby had done here. And then of course he would go on to the next one and the next. Making one last calculation Robotnik would give Jag his best estimate as to where the breach would occur and where Infinite was sure to be.

Infinite would be standing on the remains of the tallest tower of the Metropolis Zone as geysers of energy cubes would begin to shoot up out of the ground signaling that the end had finally come. Cracks started to form in the sky itself as a psychotic Infinite looked on with sinister glee waiting for his moment. So lost was he in his own malice he did not see a white blur bash into him and send the pair spiraling into the ground below. Rising to his feet Infinite would see an all too familiar feline charging at him with every intent of canceling his travel plans as the final fight for of that universe began. Unknown to either of them an oddly familiar hedgehog girl watched.
