dreadlocks are sooo cool.
i tried to do them, it took 9 hours of labor, using the backcoming and twisting method & the crochet needle...whenever i saw stray hairs i palm rolled them and made sure they were all tight, and what happened? they came out. idk how! it made me sad.
did you do yours yourself or went to a specialist?

nope i didnt wash them for 3 days like the site said, but i kept spraying water/vinegar/lemon juice mixture on them to keep them nice...for the first day they were great but then they starting unraveling slowly =[

whoa...well that's odd.i didn't wash them for like 2 months when they were made.it depends on the method u had'em done...but anyways,you have to be patient and let them knot
now i wash them weekly and it's all good

yeah i really wish i could find someone around here who does it prof. but i live in northern minnesota and not many people around here have them, i called basically every hair place i could find and they all said the same "ummm no why would we do dreadlocks" i almsot felt like saying "well i guess youre not skilled enough" but i didnt, haha.
