Whatever it was that changed things happened today
No answers given just half-truths handed to keep me at bay.
I hope that what I'm feeling is wrong
That we've seen enough together to stay strong.
Only lucid thoughts tempt me, Goddess--am I doing it again?
Am I blinding myself from what it is I feel?
Should I risk confrontation--or believe in our heart's seal?
I'm afraid to ask, I always am
My powers held back by an emotional dam.
I hold it in, so no one knows
Just tell me things have not changed, so our love can grow.
