Can't remember offhand, although I know I got a heavily discounted version. It's normally rather expensive. Google Poser Pro 2012.

Well then I say go for it. I've never used Blender but I started working with Poser last summer and it's incredibly addictive. It takes some time to figure out - the lighting frustrated me to no end in the beginning and I swore I would never light my own scenes, but lo and behold, I do now lol - but it's so enjoyable once you get the hang of it.

You would definitely need to download Michael 4 and Victoria 4 from DAZ3d.com because they're the most commonly used figures and have the most clothing, morphs and skin mats available. I believe the they're still free. And if you go to sharecg or Renderosity, both of those sites have tons and tons of freebies (sets, clothing, textures, etc.) and a lot of them are great quality so that would be a good place to start if you do end up getting the program
