Description First of all, these guys are based on these awesome bunch by the awesome
lordcarmi.deviantart.com/art/C…

"Hahahaha, something wrong with your gun, boy?" The Captain hartily laughed again. Even in the midst of a firefight the captain remains jovial.
"God-Emperor, this gun will be the death of me!"

I've been drawing the other regiments a lot ( the Iron Roosters in particular) so decided to make another one with the space vikings (no not the Space Wolves.. screw those guys) The Jotunnarmir! The soldiers from the 23rd Jotunnarmir Regiment to be more exact. :>

4th Month of Boreale Crusade,  In Miyir, the 23rd Jotunnarmir were deployed among the vanguard units of the Imperial Invasion force on the industrial planet. The first objective of the crusade, Palubdo, has been secured at this point and now the Crusade's Leader decided to move to the next stage of the campaign.

Alongside the 23rd Jotunnarmir fought companies from the 90th and 91st Cyraki Artillery, the 56th Havaarsi Mechanised, the 411th, 723rd and 45th Iron Roosters,  and The 6th and 90th Torus Trine supported by the Immortal Lions of Caliban  and the Knights of the Celestial Vaults Chapters of the Adeptus Astartes.

For its victory in Palubdo, the Boreale Crusade was granted reinforcements in the form of:
3 first founding regiments from Troyphan.
2 Additional Cyraki regiment
1 additional Havaarsi regiment
1 Torus Trine Mechanised regiment
2 Baston armored regiments
2 Mompracam Rough Tiger regiments.  : >

Why commit such a massive force? Well there are 7 more planets left in the Boreale system, it could be that the entirety of these planets' population have turned to Chaos.. That means millions of cultists ready to die by the Emperor's finest. The Boreale Crusade will liberate the system and destroy the arch heretic Vicar.

There must be REALLY dark ruinous chaos influence at work or the Emperor has to REALLY dislike you or you have to be REALLY unlucky for a lasgun to jam in battle. At least that's better than your lazgun exploding and instantly killing you.

Yeh. It must be cursed. The priests should have a look at it if the Munitorum see nothing wrong

If this was a guard regiment he’d probably get shot for a jammed weapon. Awesome work here

The guardsmen around these parts are relatively lenient. : >They need every man in the fight.

Imperial lasguns are every guardsmans holy weapon to face the enemies of the emperor. They are crafted by only the most faithful and devout servants, and as such will never jam in a guardsmans hands as he fulfills his most righteous purpose.

This is clearly user error.

Report to your local commissar immediately.

He needs to pray to it and light incense. Then it will work again...i think depends on it's machine spirit. And clean it if it not the machine spirit causing the problems. In order to get it looked at please see your nearest mechanicus representative.

overheating? short-circuit? it's basically a flashlight, right?

Sebistara In reply to Pachumaster [2018-07-18 06:41:05 +0000 UTC]

Whats next?
It might detonate with the power of a C4?
It overheats and won't stop firing?
It becomes actually more useful against a Titan than a Bayonet with a good roll does?

Barrel melts together. It happens on some of the worse quality ones. Or you have dust particles on the focusing lens.
