However, it was so much more than that to Hitomi and her boucle stallion Koa. It was, in simple terms, home. This was where she was born, where she'd grown up and where, after three years of waiting, she'd met the mighty black stallion. It was here that the magic, the true magic of her boucle stallion, had been formed. Killarney had fallen onto hard times. Drought had ravaged the land and what rain the town had been getting, hadn't really been worth the effort or the wasted breath to call it rain.
But then Koa arrived. And with him, a flood of rain that soaked the land in life giving water. And then, when the rains had ended and everything was once again green, winter had roared in.
