Description
It's a trap!Done with my left hand on a sling. Used some references. Done in about 4 or 5 hours but taking breaks.
I was really bored at home. I can't play video games, I can't work, I can't do all the things I like! And when I try to read something I get really nervous.
It was really fun to draw her but I should not to draw again in my state XD
I hope you like it.

The trap is the one sprung by whoever at Capcom USA that changed the character's original gender. I'll just stick to the original concept of Poison being 100% female, thanks.

I've accepted she was born a male, but she exists in the Capcom universe. She could have been magically transformed into a girl by Darkstalker magic for all we know.

Ah people so fervently deny that she was born he despite the original japanese manual and concept art saying that she was, as the japanese call it, a "newhalf" or tranny. And all this nonsense about censored for the american port? well in the original SNES port she was censored. They replaced her with a very skinny green haired guy with sunglasses.

From what I know originally Poison was a girl in the japanese version, then her gender was changed to transexual when in America people asked why you could hit a girl in the game.

this video goes over the history of the character both japanese and american to examine the true origins of poison and her gender. To sum it up all canon factual evidence shows her being transexual while there is little to no evidence for her ever being female.
Even the original japanese manual for the game describes her as transexual, and the replacement with full male characters for the SNES is the actual american censorship. Even in the (Sega-CD i think?) version the only censorship they did was change the shirt to avoid underboob in a videogame.

Ok but that information came in the manual of the SNES version of the game, that's why it is possible that originally Poison could be a girl since in the original version of the game, the arcade one, it is not told that she/he was a transexual.

If you have seen the video by now, you probably know why that comment is innacurate
unrelatedly I preffer poison as a transexual as it makes her a more intresting character that way, and somthing not common in video games or most media
