Back in 2017 (I believe), I sketched out an idea for an iteration of the G-Anime* mascot that was based on older anime, such as the work of Ken Ishikawa and Go Nagai (creators of Getter Robo, Miroku; Mazinger Z, Cutie Honey, Violence Jack) as well as the Guyver, Kenichi Sonoda (Bubblegum Crisis, Gal Force, Gunsmith Cats), and so forth. When the contest for the 2020 mascot came around, I threw my hat in the ring and decided to turn that sketch into something concrete.
