Finally. I had wanted to do this for ages, and in my new found art spree (I'm on vacation) I finally finished this render of my old Tripod [link]

This is much higher resolution and a way higher poloygon count than the old one, so it took ages to render. There's a bit of shadow dithering when looked at 1:1, but nothing I'm ashamed of. I chose to keep it pretty basic, not much of arty stuff involved, basically just the pure render. I did a little bit of touching up on a few jagged edges in photoshop as well as a bit of color correcting, levelling and some subtle glow, just to make it appear softer.

I realize that a few of the edges could be better with a higher polygon count, but I actually created the model a few years back, just didn't have the pc to render it at the time, heh.
