hmm......*cough*i rock*cough*....
butcha didnt hear it from me! =]
this is a little project a good friend of mine asked me to do. hes a big fan of hunting and subscribes to all these huntin and gun magazines. a picture of the deer you see above was featured in an article about 'How to Get the Big One'. i scanned the image, traced it with my tablet and then added colors based on the original image. then add in a noise filter and well heya, looky whatcha got there! =]

i bet! shoot, theres deer that come into my backyard all the time to eat off an old apple tree weve got back there. im tellin ya man, so close to the house i could sit on a lazy boy chair and aim a rifle out the window and POW! looky what i caught for dinner X]

Lol that would be awsome, but I don't get 'em in my back yard(even with the pumpkin and parsimons)because of my loud animals. Maybe if I only had my dog I'd get a few of them.

I really like it. I can see it took you a lot of time to make. It kind of looks like the deer is pasted onto the background though. Still a great picture, way better than what I can do (not even speaking of my fist digital painting xD)

yea, i know what you mean. but cuz this was my first 'major' digital painting, i focused more on the subject first and then went back n created the environment secondly, so my guess is a little was loss on that part X]

awww, haha
mine is really small since i carry it with me--along with my laptop--everywhere i go. so its probably like an 8x10, but it has a plastic cover-er, protector thingy that reduces the size to like 5x5 when its on. i bought it at Best Buy, on sale, for like 50 bucks. probably run you about 70 though normally

Oh Wow this looks so reall! i love the shiny fur, but the grass bothers me a bit.. it looks too fat? dont know the right words sorry. but the deer looks awesome! XD

in my defense, the foreground and background were not my main focus since it was my first digital painting ever
